Famed masterpiece set to be performed in town this week

GEORGE Frideric Handel's masterpiece oratorio 'Messiah' with its famed Hallelujah chorus will be performed this weekend in Tamworth.

It takes place on Saturday evening, December 13 at St. Editha’s Church, Tamworth, starting at 7pm. Tickets are £10 on the door, cash or card.
Janine Busbridge, director of music, enthused: “This scratch performance will involve over 50 singers, some incredible soloists and the organist from Howden Minster in Yorkshire.
