Parents urged to get on board half-term free travel scheme

North East Mayor Kim McGuinness is urging parents to take advantage of a free travel offer for children offer over the half-term holiday.
-
The Mayor's Kids Go Free initiative has returned for bus services all over the region until November 2-meaning up to three children aged 11 and under can travel for free with every fare-paying adult or concessionary pass holder.
Metro and Ferry travel is free for children to travel with a paying adult all year round.
