Coffee shop is expanding after 3,000 customers in its first month

The owner of a new coffee shop which is expanding to meet demand said she never expected it would go so well.
Fretta is expanding into the neighbouring unit.
Fretta by Ruhe opened in the city centre as a sister site to Ruhe in Roker Park a month ago and in that time has served close to 3,000 customers.
Such has been the popularity of the coffee shop, which has sold more than 500 of its canning machine matcha and coffee alone, that it will soon double its size.
Ruhe owner, Jo Woods, has taken on the neighbouring unit in Stockton Road, which means she can meet demand for sit-in options at the site.
