Brunch with the Boys to help dads with their mental health

Town End Farm Academy has been supporting the mental well-being of people in the local community by hosting a 'Brunch with the Boys' event aimed at the dads of children who attend the school.
The event was designed for people to attend and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat whilst at the same time raising awareness about the ongoing issue of men's mental health, with suicide still the biggest cause of death in men under 50 in the UK.
Space North East, a regional mental health charity, were at the event to help signpost any of the dads in attendance to where they can get help if they are struggling with their mental health or may do in the future.
