Silva goal help Chiefs to blunt Arrows

PORTUGUESE forward Flavio Silva opened his goal account for Kaizer Chiefs - helping the side to continue their positive form with a 1-0 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban yesterday.
Silva came from the bench to slot in the winner at the 70th minute.
The striker was immediately yellow carded after scoring, however, for excessive celebrations as he took off his shirt.
Amakhosi took control of the game from early on in the first half, pressing the men in green against their back line.
Ahley Du Preez hit the first real shot on goal after the Arrows midfield let the ball slip through to the 18 yard box.
Chiefs cut through and managed to get a few more shots on target inside the 20th minute mark, but they were fended off.
