FIVE children have tragically lost their lives after a shack caught fire in Shakas-head, Stanger, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The MEC for Transport and Human Settlements Siboniso Duma confirmed the devastating incident, which claimed the lives of children aged between one and 19.
“Sadly, five children have died tragically in a shack fire in Shakashead, Stanger,” Duma said.
According to KwaDukuza Local Municipality's Disaster Management team, the fire broke out at approximately 5.05am.
