- BY JASON MELLOR

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC is out to ditch the 'money chasing' tag that followed him out of the Premier League - and prove that his only currency is goals.

The Serbia striker was labelled a mercenary by fans after ditching Fulham in 2023 to quadruple his pay with a £400,00-a-week deal at Al-Hilal.

Despite the Saudi Pro-League being seen as a semi-retirement cash-in for players at the end of their career, Mitrovic was just 28 and at the height of his goalscoring powers when he jumped ship.
