Reform lead Labour with poor results for Starmer

KEIR Starmer was last night given an urgent warning from voters after our poll found Labour lagging well behind Nigel Farage’s Reform.

Our research put Labour on 20% in the polls and the Conservatives on 19% — both behind Reform on 30%.

Mr Starmer came into power last year but, despite making some headway in reversing the damage done by 14 years of the Tories, he still has work to do.

The PM told ministers this week 2026 “would be the year that Britain turned renewal into reality”, with a series of major policies set to come into force next year.

These include an increase in neighbourhood policing, lifting the two child benefit cap, a rail fares freeze and a planned cut in energy bills.
