GREGG Wallace is considering quitting the UK following his MasterChef shame.The greengrocer-turned-presenter is looking at moving to Italy where wife Anne-Marie and her family are from, say sources close to the star.

Wallace gives apology after being sacked

It comes as his TV career lies in tatters after being sacked from the popular BBC1 show with no prospect of any future onscreen roles.

However, he believes he can sustain a career with his new online ventures, which enable him to live anywhere in the world.

He now does online health coaching as well as selling personal-ised videos to punters on Cameo.

The 61-year-old currently lives with Anna, his mother-in-law Rina, and autistic son Sid, in Kent.

Wallace regularly visits Italy, calling the country "very special".

He has also filmed there in the past with his C5 show Big Weekends with Gregg Wallace, as well as releasing an Italian cookbook with his younger wife.

"I love visiting Italy. The whole country's one fantastic restaurant. I love it all: the south for the simplicity and beauty of its food, the middle for its history and the north for its style. I am going to retire there," he said in a previous interview.
