'Globetrotting' late rodent the centre of attention in 100ft billboard tribute

A BONKERS pet owner who created her own little world for her late hamster - and even flew his ashes to Hawaii - has now gone a step further.

Devoted Lisa Murray-Lang, 49, famously shelled out £3,500 to spread little Spud’s ashes in Hawaii.

But now she has forked out for a snapshot of her cherished Spud to be exhibited on a towering 100ft high billboard as a tribute to his memory.

Lisa made the news when it was revealed she jetted off to Hawaii to scatter most of his ashes during a ceremony in Honolulu after Spud died in 2022 at the age of three years and seven months.

Lisa later journeyed 1,500 miles with the remaining ashes to visit all his ‘favourite places’.

One recent evening, while scrolling through Facebook, Lisa stumbled upon an article about the opportunity for locals to advertise on billboards in Longbridge for just £1 per picture.
