Winning is not a thing of beauty for Thomas

THOMAS TUCHEL has warned that England will have to be ready to win ugly to reach the World Cup.

Tuchel's Three Lions reign got off to a decent start with a 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley on Friday night.

But the coach was concerned with the way his team allowed the visitors back into the game after half-time as they chased a second goal.

And with England hot favourites to top a group that also includes Latvia, Serbia and Andorra, Tuchel doesn't want to see his players taking liberties against teams who will defend deep.
