A REFORMED criminal turned reality TV star is behind a hard-hitting documentary calling for urgent action on Scotland's growing drugs death crisis.
Scotland currently has the highest death rate in Europe, with 1172 recorded in 2023.
Ex-con Jordan Robertson, 32, who spent four years in Falkirk's Polmont for attempted murder after being convicted at 17, is behind new documentary Junkie, out in spring.
It was during his second spell in Glasgow's Barlinnie that the former gang member turned his life around after joining the prison radio station.
The recovering drug addict has interviewed ex-cons, former addicts and prison officers as well as grieving family members.
