United will battle come hell or high Watters

MAX WATTERS reckons Dundee United's battling show in Austria means no one can write them off this season.

Jim Goodwin's side dug deep to come back twice for a 2-2 draw away to Rapid in Vienna in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League qualifier.

It now all comes down to Thursday's return and the winners will face AIK Stockholm or Gyori ETO in the next round.

Watters said: “I don’t think anyone should write us off, given what we have in our camp.

“We believe in ourselves and know what we are capable of. It was a massive draw in Austria.”
