BMW showcase their vision of the future with magnificent high performance all-electric iX3

BACK in the 60s, BMW introduced its groundbreaking Neue Klasse sedan - a car that was to signal the beginning of a new age for the German motor company.

Today it is once again foregrounding that classification as it introduces the new iX3, an all-electric car that heralds the next era for BMW and which showcases the company's vision for the future.

We have of course seen the electric i3, a lovely little car but it wasn't very, er, BMW.

It was quirky but it wasn’t the powerful, streamlined, dynamic car we have come to expect from Munich.

This new iX3 is all these things and more - because it comes with a range of 500 miles.

Beautifully proportioned, it combines elegant design with the signature BMW grille with terrific tech and the kind of performance we have come to expect from the German car maker.
