Actor relishes Highlander shoot

WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre can't wait to return home to Scotland from the US to film the new Highlander movie.

The 6ft 5in two-time WWE champion, from Ayr, will star as the brother of main character Connor, played by Henry Cavill, in the remake of the 80s fantasy movie. Real name Andrew Galloway, the 40-year-old who kicked off his WWE wrestling career in 2007, also made his film debut in the 2024 thriller The Killer's Game.
