The clock is Cel-ticking down to get deals done

Fewer pop stars, more first-team stars
-
CELTIC fans finally got to see a big star holding up a Hoops jersey. It just wasn't quite what they wanted though.
Becky Hill - a famous singer, apparently - was in Como on Friday night as the Italian club hosted a swanky gala as part of their tournament this week and got a pic with a shirt.
The town has sunk serious money into the tourist industry in these parts, which seems like a bit of a waste of dosh given the place is absolutely rammed with holidaymakers.
Either way, Becky was on board, but Hoops fans are hoping to see a few more pictures with actual players clutching a jersey rather than pop stars.
The clock is ticking and the pressure is on. Punters have a few dates on their minds - this week's Premiership kickoff and transfer deadline day.
But it's another date that's the really important one for Celtic.
Parkhead chiefs need to have squad lists submitted for the Champions League playoff round by midnight on August 14, with the first leg of the tie just a week later.
There's scope to chuck two more in after that point but by that stage you would be looking at lobbing a new man right into the thick of a crucial qualifier.
