So sweet for Coco as USA stars march on

COCO GAUFF became the eighth American player to reach the fourth round at the French Open - the most for 40 years.

Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova and Jimmy Connors were among the US stars the last time the feat was achieved way back in 1985.

This year, 2023 US Open champion Gauff has been joined by world No.3 Jessica Pegula, No.7 Madison Keys, No.16 Amanda Anisimova and unseeded Hailey Baptiste.
