REFS' JARGON IS LOST ON US

I KNOW the SFA's man in charge of referees, Willie Collum, is the patron saint of transparency.

And I accept without reservation that he is as honest as the day is long.

The only problem is Willie has under his control a modern-day breed of match officials who have now invented a game dripping in unfathomable jargon that's beyond the understanding of the public at large.
