LIVINGSTON battled back from two goals down against 10-man Killie after stalwart Scott Pittman rescued a late point on their Premiership return.

Killie looked to be well on their way to an opening-day three points after quickfire first-half goals from Djenairo Daniels and David Watson.

But the game turned after the interval when George Stanger was sent off for tugging back Robbie Muirhead in the box and the ex-Rugby Park striker converted the spot-kick.

Then Pittman banged in a deserved late leveller for the Lions to gain revenge for last month's Premier Sports Cup 1-0 defeat.

Livingston collapsed in a disastrous spell just before halftime when they conceded two goals in four minutes.
