Oriental to get Jim’s bandwagon rolling in Sunday Series thriller
June 15, 2025
|Sunday Mail
ORIENTAL PRINCE (5.15) can get Jim Goldie off the mark in the Sunday Series at Hamilton.
-
The local trainer has been a master at these meetings so it's hard to believe he has yet to saddle a winner in 2025.
That sequence is unlikely to continue for much longer and he has a strong batch of hopes going to post tonight.
Spring Is Sprung is in line to land the bonus for three wins in the Series in a year having already struck at Newmarket and Chelmsford.
But Oriental Prince seems to be coming to the boil at just the right time having scored at Haydock two starts ago.
The four-year-old was third over course and distance here last time and Paul Mulrennan is back in the saddle.
Goldie could be on the mark by that stage with LETSBEFRANK (4.45) looking to repeat last year's bonus heroics.
