Nine of doctor's 10 children killed in missile strike

NINE out of 10 children from the same family have been killed in a missile strike on their Gaza home.

Their mother, Alaa Al Najjar, was working at the local hospital when the Israeli bombs fell. Only son Adam, 11, and doctor husband Hamdi survived.

They have each had two operations and are in critical conditions at Nasser Hospital, where Alaa is employed.

Despite losing nine of her 10 children, the paediatrician is still working and checking in on Adam and Hamdi.
