NOT ALL HEROES WEAR NO.63

But Colby’s does and Celts kid was never going to deny KT his shirt
COLBY DONOVAN had Kieran Tierney's number at Celtic.
But don't think for a minute the Parkhead prodigy was ever going to take advantage.
In fact the teen ace couldn't think of anyone to whom hed rather give the shirt off his back after his boyhood favourite completed a sensational return to the Hoops in the summer.
Donovan had only just made the step up to the first team when he was presented with the No.63 jersey made famous by Tierney when he broke through a decade earlier.
Before the young right-back even had the chance to try it for size, he was handing it back to the homecoming hero. And he couldn't be happier.
Just like Tierney back in 2015, because it’s a chance to get to know your teammates and bond with them.
“All the players were great, talking to me and giving me advice. But the one I got on best with was Kieran.
“We just got on from the start. He came up, introduced himself and we hit it off.
“He was great to me on the tours and now I would class him as a good pal.
“Getting advice from him was something I appreciated.
“Hes been in my shoes before in terms of coming up through the academy. He has gone on and done it all in the game.
“In a way Kieran actually got the shirt off my back!
