MILLER: I'LL PUT CAREER FIRST
May 04, 2025
|Sunday Mail
LENNON MILLER could have a choice of clubs this summer as Motherwell look to make a profit on their prized asset.
But the 18-year-old says he'll put his career before cash for his next move.
Fir Park gaffer Michael Wimmer admits the midfielder could be sold off to help fund a Well rebuild.
But Miller won't go to a club where he doesn't feel he can continue his development by playing games.
The teenager is determined to stay in a first-team environment after his break-through in Lanarkshire.
And he doesn't want to slip off the radar at a bigger club like some of the Scottish talent he has grown up with.
Miller cited pal Rory Wilson as an example after the striker left Rangers for Aston Villa in 2022 but he is still an academy prospect at 19.
The Motherwell ace who was handed the captain's armband this term knows there's a world of difference between playing in the Scottish Premiership and an Under-23 league.
