Russell: Fans are judging new regime too early..give us time to get it right

RUSSELL MARTIN says Rangers' new regime are frustrated at being judged after four months - and claims fan anger is a symptom of wider issues across the UK.

The Ibrox boss, chief executive Patrick Stewart and sporting director Kevin Thelwell are under severe pressure after winning just five and losing six of their first 16 games.

Tensions heightened when punters were filmed approaching Thelwell in the team hotel after Thursday's 2-1 defeat to Sturm Graz in Austria their second from two Europa League games.

Protests against Martin and Stewart in particular have intensified in recent weeks.
