JAIR TAVARES has quit Hibs with a year left to run on his contract as David Gray looks to beef up his attacking options.

The Easter Road boss is waiting to hear if he has been successful in moves for Nectarios Triantis and Junior Hoilett to return to Easter Road next season.

But he has agreed to release winger Tavares who spent last season on loan at Motherwell.
