No Wrexham fairytale as Alejandro nets in extra time before VAR agony

IT looked like Wrexham were set for a Hollywood ending in this FA Cup clash before VAR became the ultimate villain.
Famous owners Rob Reynolds and Rob McElhenney had flown in for what the ambitious pair were hoping would be a dress rehearsal for regular Premier League combat after rescuing the Welsh club from non-league.
And they twice saw Wrexham take the lead against Chelsea before being pegged back as the tie went to extra-time.
George Dobson's red card right at the end of normal time looked to be pivotal and the Blues duly took the lead through Alejandro Garnacho in extra-time.
