ALAN BURROWS insists Aberdeen are ready to dig even deeper to back boss Jimmy Thelin in the transfer market after securing European group stage football.

The Dons earned a Europa League play-off spot thanks to last weekend's stunning Scottish Cup Final victory over Celtic.

Now chief executive Burrows says lessons must be learned from their Euro Conference League campaign two years ago.

That took its toll domestically on Barry Robson and his side who missed out on the top six as a result with the manager losing his job.
