Devlin: Exit can help us focus on the Prem

NICKY DEVLIN reckons now that Aberdeen are out of Europe they can be a match for anybody in Scotland.

The Dons aim to show that this afternoon when they travel to champions Celtic looking to turn the heat up on their struggling new manager Wilfried Nancy.

The Scottish Cup winners’ Conference League campaign ended with defeat to Sparta Prague on Thursday night.

And Devlin believes being able to focus solely on the home front can help them continue the run which has seen them recover from a poor start to climb into the top six.

He said: "I think over the last couple of months we've been really good.

"Without always being brilliant in the games, we've picked up points, found a way to win.

"Sunday will be no different for us - we have to find a way to go there and try to win the game.
