AN AWARD-WINNING chip shop has hit on a festive winner by offering customers a full deep-fried Christmas dinner.

The Dunkeld Fish Bar's festive menu includes battered turkey fillets, sage and onion stuffing balls, Brussels sprouts and foot-long pigs in blankets.

The deep-fried delicacies - served with chips instead of the traditional roast potatoes - can also be ordered with a portion of cranberry sauce.

The Perthshire village shop completes its alternative Christmas menu with delicious deep fried mince pies, which are also coated in the same light and crispy tempura batter.
