Case for making a claim

A LEADING human rights lawyer has said trans people may have a case for asylum abroad.

Founder of legal charity JustRight Scotland Jen Ang said that while a claim based on someone's transgender identity may be uncommon, it was not impossible.

The law professor at Glasgow University said: "It's very uncommon to have claims from countries like Britain but it's not impossible.
