Frustration for Edinburgh as middle-third slump costs them dearly in South Africa

SEAN EVERITT admitted Edinburgh paid a heavy price for a poor patch either side of half-time as their season was ended by the Bulls.

The Gunners began and finished this URC quarter-final on top but lost control in a stretch of play where the South Africans scored five of their six tries.

Boss Everitt said: "We got the start that we wanted but then there were a couple of loose kicks and the Bulls were outstanding in how they counter-attacked.
