Attack on synagogue indefensible, as all violence is

THE Manchester synagogue attack this week was an unspeakable act of hatred.

On the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, worshippers gathered to pray and reflect.

Instead, they encountered unimaginable violence on Yom Kippur as two innocent men lost their lives. Three others were seriously injured and the rapid response of emergency services must be commended as they likely prevented an even worse tragedy.
