A DEADLY migration, fierce predators and extreme weather are just some of the challenges faced by a massive herd of dinosaurs as they made a 400-mile journey across prehistoric Canada around 70 million years ago.
Now, their story is being brought to life in next week's Walking with Dinosaurs on BBC One.
The fifth episode, The Journey North, is based on fossil discoveries at a site in Alberta, where scientists believe they have uncovered a single moment in time when a vast herd of pachyrhinosaurus - horned dinosaurs related to triceratops — were wiped out in a catastrophic event.
