Digital shake-up promises faster cancer treatment

MILLIONS of people battling cancer are to get a faster diagnosis and start treatment sooner thanks to a major digital shake-up of the NHS, the Government has pledged.
The Department of Health has today announced the national rollout of Cancer 360 — a cutting-edge new system that pulls together all of a patient’s key information in one place, helping doctors quickly spot who needs urgent care.
The move comes as part of a £2billion investment into health tech from Labour’s
'Patient's information available in one place'
Plan for Change, aimed at fixing the “broken” NHS and saving lives.
The tool will be available to every trust in England and Wales, marking the first time such technology will be used nationwide.
