LUCY Bronze will be out to carve her name into Lionesses history against Spain in Sydney today.
SPAIN v ENGLAND TODAY, 11AM
Not long ago she was doing likewise for her hometown of Alnwick as the first girl to break into a sport then dominated by boys.
Ray Smith was the coach who handed her an opportunity that she grabbed with both hands.
"No-one had done it before no girl had ever played for the football club at any level," he says.
