Tributes paid after M9 crash

Stirling Observer

Police have named a man who died following a horror crash on the M9 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Jamie Johnstone, 37, from Denny was driving a black Vauxhall Corsa northbound between junctions six and seven, near Carronshore in Falkirk, when the accident happened at around 4.30am.

Emergency services raced to the scene but Mr Johnstone was pronounced dead.

In a statement, his family said: "As a family we are absolutely heartbroken. Jamie was a beloved son and brother, devoted father and dear friend to many.
