Searching for a castle in fascinating first dig of 2025

Last week saw our first dig of 2025, looking for a castle near Fallin that was cleared in the middle of the last century.
We think we found it, or rather its foundations.
Assuming we get permission, the plan will be to slowly but surely map the walls and find out if there is anything older on the spot.
The first record of this building is in the late 17th century but the lands are mentioned from the 12th century and there is a single reference to an older castle on the spot.
