Library access to be improved

Disabled access at the area's main library should be improved under measures being investigated by Stirling Council.

SNP councillor Scott Farmer asked for an update on progress to provide disabled access facilities at Central Library in Corn Exchange Road at a recent full council meeting.
Council leader Cllr Gerry McGarvey said: "A feasibility study to identify a fully accessible solution for the central library was completed earlier in 2025.
"Capital funding of £50,000 was approved to be included in the 2025/26 capital programme for the technical design stage of the project.
