Expect to pay more for a new PS5

It's only a week since our minds were boggled by the fact that the new Nintendo Switch 2 is going to be more expensive than a PlayStation 5-but Sony has quickly put those issues to bed by hiking the price of its own console before Nintendo's is even out.

Sony has not said that US President Donald Trump's bizarre tariff-based trade war has anything to do with the rises, saying that they're down to"a challenging economic environment". No kidding.
