Community partnership targets underage drinking

A new effort to tackle issues around underage drinking has been kickstarted with the launch of a new initiative in Dunblane and Bridge of Allan.

The Community Alcohol Partnership is one of 300 set up across the UK, working within communities to highlight risks of underage drinking and improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

It will work to educate youngsters about underage drinking and help them to make better decisions about issues such as alcohol, drugs and antisocial behaviour - with local retailers also being worked with to prevent underage sales and 'proxy' sales.
