The much-anticipated election process for the office bearers of the All J&K Oil and LPG Truck Drivers & Cleaners Union has officially commenced, following an order issued by the Principal District Judge, Jammu.

This marks a significant move toward reinstating effective leadership within the union, which had been facing administrative stagnation due to the inaction of the outgoing team.
Retired District and Sessions Judge Mohd Rafiq Chak has been appointed as the Returning Officer to supervise and ensure the smooth conduct of the elections.
In his official notice, Chak outlined the challenges faced in initiating the electoral process-particularly the outgoing team's failure to collect monthly subscription fees or provide banking details for online deposits.
