Orange Lodge parade details for region revealed

DETAILS have been released for this year's Orange Lodge parades in Southport and Liverpool.
Organisers say they “anticipate the largest attendance for a number of years, as this year’s parade falls on a Saturday”.
Sunday (July 6) will see the annual July celebration parade taking place by members of the Liverpool Provincial Grand Orange Lodge.
The entire province including adults, children and bands look forward to attending the parade and Thanksgiving service at the Liverpool city centre venue of the Liner Hotel. During the service long serving awards will be presented to members.
The parades will move off at 1.25pm travelling into city from Netherfield Road and the Dingle.
Saturday, July 12 will see the traditional Orange Lodge Parades taking place in Liverpool and Southport. This will be to commemorate the 335th anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne that took place in 1690.
