Seafront site plans withdrawn

PROPOSALS for a new Greggs outlet at a seafront petrol station in Swansea have been withdrawn.
A company called Motor Fuel Group had resubmitted revised plans for the Texaco garage site, Blackpill, in December 2023 after its previous bid was turned down.
The revised application to Swansea Council sought to overcome the earlier reasons for refusal - namely a lack of parking and increased congestion on Mumbles Road, and a lack of evidence about potential impacts on protected species.
