Scary thrills and chills terrifying visitors to park

IT’S THE scariest time of the year, and what better way to get into the spirit of Halloween than heading to a haunted house? Well, we went one further, and went to a spooky trail held at a Welsh building that is rumoured to really be haunted.

Margam Park is hosting a Halloween event called Scream Time, a spine-chilling trail which features plenty of spooky characters ready to jump out and scare you. It’s the second year the country park has run the event, and they've promised that it is bigger, better and scarier.

The horrifying trail guides guests through the park and then later the haunted 19th-century castle (the one we've all heard ghost stories about).

We arrived for the 7.30pm Scream Time trail, and the sky was pitch black, which already added to the spooky element of the night as we truly couldn’t see a thing. The trail was lit up by red lighting, leaving just enough visibility to spot the challenge that lay ahead.
