Happy to tackle fundraisers - fitness allowing!

'VE always believed that fundraising should be fun, even when the cause that you are raising money for came about under tragic circumstances.

I simply believe that the more fun that people have then the more will be made for the cause that is being supported.

Of course some people go to amazing lengths to raise funds for causes that are close to their heart.

Here in Gorseinon recently, locals gathered to welcome home Joe Clayfield and his dad Ron, a brilliant local father-and-son duo who completed an epic cycle from Berlin all the way back to Gorseinon.

Thanks to their hard work and a few raffles along the way they've now raised around £8,000 - meaning The Brain Tumour Charity and Morgan's Army will each receive more than £4,000.

The money that they raised will enable Morgan's Army to continue to support families facing cancer in their child or young person in South Wales.

Another big fundraising effort taking place soon is a walk from Swansea to London to support the Singleton Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The walk for Alex and Gavin is a 190-mile journey over six days and aims to raise £20,000 for the two charities, which played a vital role in saving a child's life.
