A LOCAL fundraiser ran a half marathon to raise funds as a thank you to hospital staff for the care her uncle received.

Ceris Powell, from Glanamman, took on the Cardiff run to fundraise for the chemotherapy day unit at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
