SHERRATT: FIRED-UP WALES RARING TO GO
March 03, 2026
|South Wales Echo
WALES are ready to hit Dublin with the same intensity they showed against Scotland, says Matt Sherratt.
Steve Tandy's squad believe they can take the same level of aggression into Friday's clash with a resurgent Ireland.
The 26-23 defeat to Gregor Townsend's side was a marked improvement on Wales' first two matches of the tournament.
Wales attack coach Sherratt said his side had not "shown enough intent" against England and France but managed to deliver that against the Scots.
Wales let slip a 20-5 lead against Scotland in Cardiff, but the Finn Russell-inspired visitors hit back to claim a late victory.
But confidence in the Wales camp is growing.
