WALES U20 fly-half Elis Price celebrated his 20th birthday in style as he kicked a late penalty to send Carmarthen Quins to victory over Llandovery in the West Wales derby.

Having been on the bench for the Scarlets at the Arms Park for the United Rugby Championship win at Cardiff on Friday night, Price was back on Super Rygbi Cymru duty at Carmarthen Park on Saturday afternoon.
‘And it was his kick with just minutes remaining that ultimately proved decisive as the Quins bounced back from back-to-back defeats by Ebbw Vale and Cardiff to return to winning ways.
It was a thrilling derby that swung one way, then the other, and back again.
‘The hosts led early on but Llando-very had their noses in front 12-10 at the break. The Quins then scored twice to lead 24-12 but back came the Drovers again to lead 26-24.
“1 would have picked him (Price) out as our man of the match probably,” said Quins director of rugby Steff Thomas.
