Expert help for riding on winter roads
November 20, 2025
|Somerset Guardian
It may be colder and darker but the Frome Community Bike Project wants to help local cyclists stay on the roads safely during the winter months.
-
Cycling all year round is essential for many, not only as an economical mode of transport to commute to work, but as a convenient way to transport children to and from school.
The professional mechanics at the workshop can help advise and fit those wet season essentials, mudguards and lights, and kit out cyclists with high-vis equipment to increase safety on the roads.
With new opening hours at the workshop at Station Approach, Frome, there’s plenty of opportunity to drop bikes in and pick up equipment.
