IMPS HEAD TO PORTUGAL IN GOOD SHAPE, SAYS BOSS
MICHAEL Skubala is pleased with the progress Lincoln City have made so far during preseason, speaking after their latest friendly.
Preparations stepped up a notch for the Imps with a behind-closed-doors friendly with Huddersfield Town at the Elite Performance Centre last Friday afternoon.
Two separate XIs played 60 minutes each, with James Collins, Freddie Draper and Reeco Hackett all finding the net.
The Terriers ultimately ran out 5-3 winners, but Skubala was keen to stress the importance of getting some much-needed minutes into the group, without sustaining any injuries.
